Christopher Columbus
I was born into a catholic family  in  Genoa, Republic of Genoa in 1451, where all actions where determined through our religion. The intense belief for our religion led me to grow in an environment full of prejudice civilization, which at the time I could not see. As I developed into a man I began to dictate all my actions through my holy religion making me the man I became known for, a murderer. I began to search for adventure and conquest, I believed that it was my duty as a blessed human. Once I found my perfect opportunity, I launched my ideas into gear, I requested the King and Queen for the permission to embark on a mission in search for a shorter route to India for trade. I did request at least 3 times before the monarchy saw any hope in me. During this search I discovered the one thing I was not searching for, the New World, the discovery not only offered me the opportunity to claim land for my country but it also hailed me as a well established colonizer. In the time spent in the New World I destroyed more than I could count, I encountered a new race, a race I felt was inferior to us the spaniards. My deep belief in catholosism caused me to believe I had the power to take and break whatever I pleased in the name of God, because the Indians where savage heathens and had no right to make decisions. Ultimately I killed the greatest population of the Indians, by weapons, mutilation, Forced, labor, and diseases. In my last visit I would have destroyed any trace of an existing civilization located their. The king and queen eventually decided I had done enough and ordered my complete abandonment of the explorations. I died in May 20, 1506 of a heart attack due to my arthritis at the age of 54.
